It depends on the surface where you'll be mounting your soap dish, the desired result, and how easy you want the installation to be:

- Wall mounting: it depends. If your wall isn't a smooth, non-porous surface (such as glass, a mirror, smooth tile, or metal), the screw-on soap dish is the best option because the suction cup might not stick. On other surfaces, the suction cup adheres well.

- Convenience: The suction-cup soap holder has the edge. The suction-cup soap holder is more convenient because it doesn’t require drilling holes in the wall, and it works with any soap bar weighing less than 150g. However, once attached, the school-style soap holder stays in place, and the 270g refills last longer (800 washes).

- Design: The school-style soap dish has the edge. Made of stainless steel, brushed stainless steel, or brass, the school-style soap dish is a true decorative piece that adds a vintage and elegant touch to your sink or washbasin.

Suction-cup soap dish: Choose a smooth, non-porous surface, dampen it slightly, and attach the suction cup to it. That's it!

School-style soap dish: Choose any surface, drill three small holes in the wall using a drill, then use the included hardware to mount your school-style soap dish on the wall. Assembly time: 15 minutes.

Suction-cup soap dish (about 2 minutes): Use the magnet system included with the soap dish. Press the magnet into the soap until it protrudes slightly from the surface. Once the soap is used up, remove and clean the magnet, then start over.

School Soap Dispenser (about 2 minutes): Clean the soap dispenser’s stem, then unscrew the cap. Next, slide in the 270g refill, with the flat end facing the wall. Screw the cap back on. All done!
