Handcrafted hot saponification for extra softness

Saponification is the process by which the basic ingredients - vegetable oils, lye and water - are transformed into soap. Traditional hot saponification involves heating the ingredients in a cauldron, while cold saponification does not.

The advantage of hot saponification is that active ingredients can be added to the soap to enhance its benefits for the skin or its sensoriality. This hand and body soap, for example, contains organic shea butter, recognized for its regenerative and reparative properties. What's more, during the hot saponification process, the formula is naturally enriched with glycerin, an active ingredient recognized for its moisturizing and protective properties.

The result is a skin-friendly solid soap that leaves a pleasant fragrance after the shower.
